Christmas & New Year Opening Times
Cupcake Day for the Alzheimer’s Society. Thursday 17th June
Next Thursday (17th June), we’ll be once again supporting the Alzheimer’s Society Cupcake Day.
We’ll have some pretty darned amazing cupcakes on sale, courtesy of our chums over at the Cherry Blossom bakery in Macclesfield.
50p from each cupcake sold will go towards this extremely worthy cause – one which is very, very close to my own heart.
So much so that, this year, I’ve decided to also donate 10% of all our takings on Thursday 17th to the Alzheimer’s Society.
So, if you’d like to make a difference, and help families who are struggling as a result of this heart-breaking disease, please support us by buying our cupcakes and generally spending money with us on the 17th June.
Thank you…
Re-Opening 17th May 2021
From Monday 17th May, in addition to our outside terrace tables, we will be re-introducing a limited number of tables inside the cafe.
As always, we will be working within the Government guidelines, so please make sure you wear a mask (unless exempt) and use the hand sanitizer before coming inside the shop. Sit only at a cleared table, and our staff will be over to take your order. Once seated, you can remove your mask. You can use our QR scanner to check in, or simply provide our staff with a contact telephone number along with your order.
If you wish to order takeaway, please continue to do so inside the shop but, due to restricted numbers allowed, please wait outside for your order and we will bring it to you.
It’s the next step on our road to freedom folks! Thank you so much for all your support over the past, rather scary, year. Let’s continue to stay safe and stay positive, and hopefully soon we will be able to put all of this behind us.
Re-Opening (the next stage!) April 12th 2021
It’s been a long, fraught, difficult year, but, from 12th April, we are positively giddy to tell you that we will finally be able to re-open the shop and the outside café.
Inside the shop, you’ll be able to browse the counter and shelves and select your favourite chocolates. You’ll also be able to order takeaway drinks and cakes.
Outside, you’ll be able to sit and enjoy the Buxton sunshine (hopefully!) on our terrace area.
We’ll be resuming our table service, so all you have to do is sit yourselves down at a cleared table and a member of our team will be over to take your order.
We politely ask that you do not move the tables and chairs as they will be set out in accordance with the current social-distancing rules. We also ask you not to move between tables, or we have to start the cleaning procedure all over again.
We also ask you not to bring your own food to our tables. Not only does it contravene the current guidelines, it’s also incredibly rude.
We so look forward to welcoming you back to Charlotte’s. And for those of you who have supported us throughout this awful year, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Stay safe and stay positive.
Re-opening (well… partial re-opening!) Wednesday 3rd Feb
I’m really happy to announce that our hatch service will be re-opening for business on Wednesday 3rd February.
As before, we’ll be just open for takeaway drinks, snacks and chocolate collection, Wednesday to Sunday 11am-3pm.
We’ll be posting lots of gift ideas and offers on our social media pages, so keep your eyes peeled!
If you would like to place an order for chocolates to be posted, please email me at bevjones@charlotteschocolates.com. giving me an idea what your chocolatey preferences are, how much you would like to spend and a contact telephone number so I can call you to discuss your order and take payment.
This continues to be a really difficult time for all small businesses, and your continued support will be so very much appreciated.
Stay safe and stay positive!
